Read Lubanga Chronicle #33 10-12 June 2009 Witness 16 was part of the main staff of the UPC. When he arrived at Mandro Camp he found over a hundred recruits being trained. In his view, threequarters of them were children. “They had just arrived from their homes, from Tchomia, Bogoro, or Kaseny, villages that belong to the Hema community. Many of them came to get revenge for their families who had been killed. They were very keen volunteers,”says Witness 16. Source:Aegistrust
